1) What is e tendering ?
It is simple process similar you give your product or Service quotation to private customer , similarly here you are giving quotation to Govt / PSU / Banks customer.
2) What are types of tendering ?
Broadly it is classified as Physical tenders / Online Tenders / Empanelment tenders .Other classification is Single Bid / Two Bid / Three Bid type tenders
3) What is Physical Tender ?
In Physical tenders you have to fill up tender duly handwritten / typed ( as per instruction mentioned in tender documents) . After filling, you need to take print , sign it , put your company rubber stamp and need to submit on given address before DUE DATE and TIME as given in Tender documents.
4) What is Online Tender?
In this process, you need to first download tender from customer website or tendering portal (Or you might have received copy from some other sources). As mentioned in the same, you need to get register on respective tendering portal. Other than GeM portal , all other portals require Class 3 Digital Signing Certificate (DSC) during registration. Login id / Password will be created and then you can start with tendering process. After downloading tender documents, you need to study tender documents in detail to understand Scope of work , PQ Criteria, Payment Terms , Delivery Terms , Special Terms & Conditions etc. We can help you for searching the tender for your products / services with checklist of Important points from tender documents so that your time will be saved and you can take decisions faster for participation in tender or not.
5) What is empanelment tender ?
It is simple "Vendor Registration process". Buyer call for "Empanelment tender"
asking for specific type of Manufacturer Or Service providers to cater their needs of organisation for the specified products or Services. In such tender documents, minimum criteria is mentioned with standard formats asking for Supplier information. You need to fill it up and submit to buyer by online or physical way as mentioned in tender documents. Buyer verifies information with supplier by calling him over phone for discussion Or may call him at their office for discussion
Or they may visit to supplier office / Factory for verification of information provided by Supplier. After verification and if information is found correct , empanelment letter will be issued to respective Supplier will mention empanelment period ( may be 2 / 3/ 5 years). After empanelment letter / email received , then requirement details / enquiry will be sent to only empanelled suppliers who gets registered with Buyer. Buyer may place direct order to supplier Or may divide work within empanelled suppliers Or may again ask for quotation and on basis of L1 will place the order to respective supplier. Buyers decision will be final in this regard.
6) What is Class 3 DSC?
In Online tendering process, your documents needs to be digitally signed and uploaded. You need Class 3 Diital Signing Certificate for the same. It is used for signing documents digitally during online documents submission process.
7) What are types of Class 3 DSC ?
a) Signing Certificates – Used for Company formation and other work
b) DGFT – For DGFT related Work
c) Class 3 Combo- Can be used for all purpose like tendering, signing and DGFT work. It is with Company Name + Person Name with Signing and Encryption certificate
8) What is MSME Registration & it`s benefit?
MSME stands for "MICRO, SMALL & MEDIUM Enterprises". Every business should be registered with MSME and should have MSME UDYAM certificate. There are various benefits of MSME Registration & subsidies. It also helps to save EMD / TENDER DOCUMENTS fees free of cost, Exhibition subsidy within India / Outside India and so many other beneits..
9) What is NSIC Registration & its benefits?
NSIC stands for "NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIES CORPORTION".
